STLOpen Days

STLOpen Days 2019

STLO opens its doors in 2019!

19-21 March, Rennes, France

Conference venue: Agrocampus Ouest - 65 rue de Saint-Brieuc - Rennes

Registration online is open - REGISTER NOW

STLO, the “Science and Technology of Milk and Eggs” research unit has been working in the fields of milk and egg products since its creation.

Our contribution to the research about these essential components of our diet led to breakthrough findings and developments, which dramatically improved our scientific knowledge as well as the efficiency of the milk and egg industrial sectors. Indeed, the research works developed at STLO are not only valorized through international publications. They are also questioned and valorized through the prism of their industrial applications and societal impacts.

Following these guidelines, STLO has developed a win-win relationship with stakeholders and a strong and fruitful partnership with the private sector.
In the recent years, in addition to the long-standing experience in the characterization and the processing of milk and egg components, STLO has developed new research lines that include plant matrices, human nutrition and health and animal health. STLO infrastructure has been evolving accordingly to keep meeting the highest standards in research and development.
STLO members have attended hundreds of congresses, visited dozens of French and foreign universities, institutes and industries. The time has come to invite all our hosts “at home”, to meet STLO researchers and visit our facilities during the STLOpen Days, 19-21 March 2019.

During these days, you will have an overview of STLO research works and recent achievements in the field of processing, microbiology, physico-chemistry and nutrition. You will also be invited to visit our infrastructures and will be guided by STLO researchers and engineers who will be happy to answer your questions.
Coffee breaks, lunches and the gala dinner will also be an exquisite opportunity to meet academic and private partners.
